The Flextip is designed to grip on all but the hardest smooth surface thanks to its hollow point Tungsten Carbide tip. It is called a “Flex” tip due to its ability to withstand a bend of up to 30 degrees about its mid-section if it gets stuck in a crack. If bent further then it may snap, but in such a way as to prevent damage to the pole section, allowing the section to be re-used.
Replacement baskets to fit the Flextip are also available.
Specification
Most poles have the Flextip simply pushed in to place, the internal taper of the Flextip precisely engineered to match the taper of the end pole section. With these poles the old Flextip can be removed after being heated in warm water* with the new Flextip being held on after a few knockes in to the ground. Carbon poles or those models with very shiny surface finish may have the Flextip glued in to place. The old tip is still removed after heating, but after heating for longer with hotter water. A little epoxy glue or similar will hold the new Flextip in place.
*Care should be taken with Carbon pole sections that they are not heated above 80°C

We use Royal Mail Tracked 24-Hour Service and, for some items, the premium DPD service in the UK. Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays are not DPD or Royal Mail working days.
We will inform you by email when your goods are out for delivery, and the message will contain a link to allow you to track your consignment via the Royal Mail Tracked 24 and DPD Predict service. If you provide a Mobile number, you should also receive an SMS text message.
United Kingdom
We deliver to all countries within the United Kingdom, including England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
Orders placed by noon on a working day (Mon-Fri) should be delivered by the end of the following working day in the UK. Please be aware sometimes factors beyond our control can delay delivery and next-day delivery cannot be guaranteed.
Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man take an extra day, so we ask customers to please allow 2-4 working days from the day of order to avoid any disappointment.
Notwithstanding this, we only sell from our stock which is ready to ship, all orders are treated as priority and get the fastest delivery possible, and we don't charge extra for this. In the UK, this means next working day for orders received by noon.
