Patagonia's rock climbing customers and pro athletes alike wanted the proven performance of their Guide line but in a lighter fabric and with a more contemporary look. The design and feel of the Rock Guide Pants allow for après-crag chillin' without sacrificing even a sliver of athleticism. First and foremost, these lightweight, soft, stretch-woven nylon pants serve a primary purpose: climbing. Articulated knees and a gusseted crotch allow effortless high-stepping and stemming. The athletic (not baggy) cut includes straight lower legs with a wide hem, making for easy-to-roll-up cuffs that stay in place through footwork-intensive routes. The button waist has a zip fly, belt loops, and a brushed interior for next-to-skin comfort. Pockets include two handwarmers and one glued-on right thigh.
