Since biblical times, or at least since Patagonia started making shells, the Storm Jacket has proved its worth in torrential downpours. It keeps you dry and comfortable with a 2-layer waterproof/breathable hard-shell construction (4.4-oz 75-denier 100% all-recycled polyester double ripstop), sealed seams and a hanging mesh and taffeta liner. Reinforced shoulders and elbows add durability, and storm flaps cover all external zippers for extra protection. Finer points: a 2-way-adjustable, helmet-compatible hood, pit zips, one internal security pocket, two handwarmer pockets and a left-chest pocket hidden inside the center-front zipper storm flap. Elastic cuffs secure with a self-fabric tab. Drawcord hem. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Material
2-layer H2No shell fabrics are completely waterproof, windproof and breathable. They utilize an internal mesh or a wicking, hanging fabric liner to protect the waterproof barrier making them very comfortable and warm, even against the skin. 2-layer shell fabrics are versatile alternatives when you don't need the lightest or most durable shell available.

H2No is created by adding a waterproof and breathable laminate or coating to a high performance protective fabric. This fabric package blocks wind and water on the outside while allowing water vapor generated by your body to escape - keeping you warm, dry and comfortable.
