Inspired more by winter whiteouts than sunshine, Patagonia's Winter Sun combines the best attributes of high-loft insulation and a breathable soft shell for use in full-on conditions.
The double-weave polyester shell has exceptional water-and-wind-resistance, the stitch-free seams improve wet-weather performance, and the 100-g PrimaLoft Eco insulation provides superior compressibility and warmth, even if it gets wet. A hidden stretch panel across the upper back enhances mobility, and reinforcements line the sides.

Patagonia’s proprietary durable water repellent fabric finish, Deluge DWR, lasts substantially longer than standard DWRs. Garments with the Deluge DWR finish have like-new repellency after years of extensive use.
