Before Patagonia made clothes they made pitons with the help of a foot-operated drop hammer, an anvil and a coke-fired forge. Clothing requires softer materials and methods, but Patagonia's old ironclad guarantee still applies. Forge Pants come in a tough, 8-oz. organic cotton canvas, suitable for the rigors of climbing or working in a shop. Details include a zip-fly, quarter-front pockets, drop-in hip pockets and a single cargo pocket on the thigh. Regular fit, with articulated knees and stovepipe legs for freedom of movement. Inseam, size 32, is 32 . Garment-washed.
