Part high-end mixed route, part alpine climb, "Rocket Man" combines a big approach and technical terrain with Canadian cold. For unkind days like these, Patagonia's Core Skins stretch, breathe, and insulate, from predawn to post-dusk. The weather-resistant, stretch-woven soft-shell fabric and variegated-fiber R2® insulation (bonded together) create a technical package that stretches fully and layers smoothly. Burly, dense fabric reinforces the shoulders and sleeves. Details include water-repellent, easy-gliding Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) zippers; a spindrift-blocking neck gasket closure; long-opening hand pockets with thin-and-light zippers for core ventilation; and anatomically contoured cuffs. The fit is slim but allows room for light underlayers.
