When the priority list starts and ends with maximum vertical, this teched-out, motion-oriented jacket – with its no-compromise storm protection – will keep you moving freely through fluxing terrain and conditions. Made from a 3-layer stretch-woven nylon shell with 2-way stretch to thwart abrasion, scoff at angry weather, and promote suppleness. A waterproof/breathable H2No® barrier and Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) treatment increase foul-weather security on epic days. The clean design, with Welded Seam construction throughout, reduces weight, improves wet-weather performance, and creates an amazingly stuffable, agile package. The helmet-friendly hood adjusts three ways to allow complete neck mobility and unchallenged peripheral vision. Torso pockets double as vents and have a backing mesh for quick and efficient ventilation. The knit tricot interior is soft, wicks moisture away from underlayers, and glides easily over layers. With a left bicep pocket, a climbing skin–sized internal drop-in pocket, a fully featured storm skirt and an internal audio-device pocket with holes for routing cables to your helmet.
