For single-digit temps, they’re insulated with soft recycled-polyester insulation that’s extremely packable and offers highly efficient warmth. A lightweight lining of recycled taffeta glides over layers without hesitation and wicks away moisture when you’re climbing. Stealthy thigh vents keep air flowing for efficient ventilation, and articulated knees allow physical aerials and edge grabs. Two angled hand pockets secure with zippers, while side pockets remain accessible under a hip belt. At the cuffs, full-featured gaiters keep out postholing debris, and burly, wraparound scuff guards protect the bottom hem. With triple-needle stitching at stress points for durability.
