Lyme bacteria. This disease can lead to serious symptoms in the muscles, the joints, the nervous system and the heart if left untreated. About 10% of tick bites lead to infection with Lyme’s disease. It is extremely important that the tick be carefully removed within 24 hours. The risk of infection is then minimal. When removing the tick, the insect must be irritated and damaged as little as possible.

Care Plus® Tick–Out
A tick can be easily and safely removed with Care Plus® Tick-Out pincers. the special grip ensures that the tick is properly gripped with minimum risk of damaging the tick. In the gripping surface there is also a notch for removing nymphs, an early stage in the life of a tick. The pincers are supplied with clear instructions and two antiseptic dabs to disinfect the site of the bite AFTER removing the tick.
