Royal Robbins is an internationally acclaimed US climber and kayaker who, with his wife and partner Liz, founded his outdoor clothing company over 30 years ago. Royal and Liz made ground-breaking ascents of difficult Yosemite climbs, taught skiing and climbing and opened a climbing school. But the couple couldn't find the right clothing in which to explore, so in 1975 Liz decided to design her own. The rest is history; Royal Robbins clothing evolved into a complete line of travel clothing designed to be comfortable and rugged, that fits well and looks great.
