Upper Protection - RRS (Rubber Reinforcement System)
A rubber reinforcement is applied to the upper for protection using an innovative and exclusive technical method developed by Zamberlan. It ensures maximum abrasion resistance at high wear areas of the upper as well as enhancing water resistance and helping the boot to keep its shape during extended use.
Hardware - HRT ( High Resistance Treatment)
All Zamberlan's hardware is designed to allow smooth lace closure. D-rings and hooks receive the high resistance treatment to ensure maximum resistance to corrosion.
Lining - Leather/Cambrelle
The toe area is lined with Cambrelle which wicks moisture exceptionally well, is quick drying, antibacterial and resistant to abrasion and stretch. The heel and ankle area is lined with soft calf leather for a very comfortable fit.
Footbed - Zamberlan Footbed
A removable footbed which is anatomically shaped for comfort. It has a quick drying top fabric , which wicks away moisture, a layer of active carbon, a cushioning layer and has small holes to aid breathability.
Padding - ZAS (Zamberlan Air System)
Zamberlan special construction and design method and choice of components to optimize the comfort and boot breathability, thanks to a special padding foam. Boots crafted accordingly are extremely light weight and extremely more breathable.
Insole/Shank - Zamberlan Modular Flex
An exclusive Zamberlan polypropylene midsole, developed to achieve a greater degree of lightness, torsional rigidity and flexibility where needed. It features special grooves under the ball of the foot to allow for a natural movement and backbone reinforcement to maintain torsional rigidity.
Toe and Heel - Thermoplastic
The toe puff and heel counter are made from an extruded thermoplastic material which is pre-shaped on a special machine. They provide excellent protection for the foot and help maintain a good boot shape even after extended use.
Sole Package - Vibram Ananasi
Vibram rubber sole featuring a thick PU wedge for shock absorption and overall comfort. Dual density rubber for better lateral support and undercut heel for secure braking. Large contact toe area for better grip and the lugs are carefully positioned to aid traction. Large grooves for good self cleaning action.
Construction - Cemented
The upper, including the lining, is cemented to the middle with thermoplastic glue along the outer edge of the midsole. The sole is then fixed to the bottom of the boot.
