Upper Protection - RRS (Rubber Reinforcement System)
A rubber reinforcement is applied to the upper for protection using an innovative and exclusive technical method developed by Zamberlan. It ensures maximum abrasion resistance at high wear areas of the upper as well as enhancing water resistance and helping the boot to keep its shape during extended use.

Hardware - HRT ( High Resistance Treatment)
All Zamberlan's hardware is designed to allow a smooth passage of the laces. D-rings and hooks receive the high resistance treatment to ensure maximum resistance to corrosion.

Lining - GORE-TEX
An extremely waterproof and breathable micro porous membrane which can be used to make a lining in outdoor footwear. its structural characteristics allow moisture from the foot to pass through but keep water out.

Footbed - Zamberlan Footbed
A removable footbed which is anatomically shaped for comfort. It has a quick drying top fabric , which wicks away moisture, a layer of active carbon, a cushioning layer and has small holes to aid breathability.

Padding - ZAS (Zamberlan Air System)
Zamberlan special construction and design method and choice of components to optimize the comfort and boot breathability, thanks to a special padding foam. Boots crafted accordingly are extremely light weight and extremely more breathable.

Insole/Shank - Zamberlan Pluriflex
The Pluriflex midsole has a polypropylene core, covered by a non-woven fabric to ensure comfort and thermal insulation. It offers a high degree lightness, stiffness and torsional rigidity. It is suitable for rough terrain and maintains its technical characteristics in extreme temperature and weather conditions.

Toe and Heel - Thermoplastic
The toe puff and heel counter are made from an extruded thermoplastic material which is pre-shaped on a special machine. They provide excellent protection for the foot and help maintain a good shape in boot even after extended use.

Sole Package - Vibram Star Trek
Exclusive Zamberlan rubber sole developed with Vibram for maximum performance. It features a toe bumper for foot protection and grip, a low density PU wedge for shock absorption, low weight and comfort, a TPU element for maximum stability and torsional rigidity in the heel hook area, low density PU element in the heel area for cushioning. It has a wide contact toe and heel area for better grip and durability, large grooves for good self cleaning action, multi-directional lugs with sculptured design to enhance touch down, traction, and toe off and undercut heel for secure braking.

Construction - GTX BOOTEE
The GORE-TEX membrane is thermo-sealed into a bootee that is then fixed to the boot upper. When the boot is lasted , the bootee is fixed to the midsole with a small quantity of glue.
