Upper - Hydrobloc Nabuk Leather
Zamberlan's Nabuk leathers are from premium grade hide and receive their special Hydrobloc treatment during the tanning process to ensure maximum water resistance.

Hardware - HRT ( High Resistance Treatment)
All Zamberlan's hardware is designed to allow smooth lace closure. D-rings and hooks receive the high resistance treatment to ensure maximum resistance to corrosion.

Lining - GORE-TEX
An extremely waterproof and breathable micro porous membrane which can be used to make a lining in outdoor footwear. Its structural characteristics allow moisture from the foot to pass through but keep water out.

Footbed - Zamberlan Footbed
A removable footbed which is anatomically shaped for comfort. It has a quick drying top fabric , which wicks away moisture, a layer of active carbon, a cushioning layer and has small holes to aid breathability.

Padding - ZAS (Zamberlan Air System)
Zamberlan special construction and design method and choice of components to optimize the comfort and boot breathability, thanks to a special padding foam. Boots crafted accordingly are extremely light weight and extremely breathable.

Insole/Shank - Zamberlan Flex GT
Zamberlan Flex GT is their carefully graded polypropylene midsole specially designed and manufactured for GORE-TEX lined boots. It offers good support while allowing good tuned flex for natural movement of the foot and a consistent flex pattern across all sizes.

Toe and Heel - Thermoplastic
The toe puff and heel counter are made from an extruded thermoplastic material which is pre-shaped on a special machine. They provide excellent protection for the foot and help maintain a good boot shape even after extended use.

Sole Package - Vibram LH07
A new Zamberlan sole developed with Vibram to obtain a remarkable package with high tech details and a lightweight, attractive design with a low side profile. It features a durable and high grip outersole, TPU plate for stability and torsional rigidity and a two density PU midsole for cushioning and comfort.

Construction - GTX BOOTEE
The GORE-TEX membrane is thermo-sealed into a bootee that is then fixed to the boot upper. When the boot is lasted , the bootee is fixed to the midsole with a small quantity of glue.

Lacing System - FWS (Foot Wrapping System)
The FWS is a special construction process used to shape the tongue. The tongue is cut as part of the upper and is shaped using special forms designed and patented by Zamberlan. This forming process eliminates excessive bulk over the foot. Boots using the FWS are more able to perfectly wrap the foot, enhancing fit and comfort as well as feel and control in the boot.
