As designers and manufacturers of thier own socks, Lorpen have the knowledge and insight to achieve that goal. Lorpen has been able to expand sock technologies from what was existing in the market.

Using just one fiber when knitting socks is wasted potential. At Lorpen, we combine different fibers to maximize their warming or cooling properties. We lab test different combinations in order to find which ones offer the most benefits to athletes. Different climates require different fibers. While Merino wool is great for the winter, it's too warm for the summer. Even sheep don't wear wool in the summer. That's why we use different technolgies to keep your feet comfortable.

In the critical cushioning and friction areas of the foot, the addition of Primaloft® provides better blister protection than just Merino alone. When combined with Nylon fibers it guarantees greater durability. The addition of Primaloft® yarn improves the drying rate and insulation property these socks when compared to traditional 100% Merino socks.

Lorpen Primaloft® / Merino T3 socks are washed with an exclusive nanosoftener that penetrates the core of the fiber for a softer feel. In addition, the Primaloft® yarn makes the sock significatly more durable and with a better after wash appearance.

Breathable mesh instep provides improved breathability to ensure faster drying and temperature regulation. T3 Spider net integrated support keeps the sock correctly aligned on the foot without slippage or movement and eliminates ridges and wrinkles.

The toe area and the bottom of the foot are the areas most sensitive to cold. Lorpen use Primaloft® yarn combined with Merino Wool in this critical area to improve the overall warmth of the sock.
