The Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) UK is the trade body for manufacturers, retailers and other organisations that provide products and services for the outdoor leisure pursuits market in the United Kingdom. Its role is to provide leadership and promote the outdoors, persuasively representing the industry's interests in all activities at every level and be a high profile, campaigning organisation.
Countryside Ski & Climb is a member of the OIA UK and on the board of directors.
We take our membership very seriously and this reflects on our approach to supporting the broader picture of the outdoors industry in the UK. In practical terms this means as a member we support a vast array of initiatives like programmes to encourage more people to enjoy the outdoors, lobbying and informing on issues pertinent to the industry in the UK and Europe, promoting careers and training in the industry and promoting and collaborating on sustainability and environmental good practice.
