The Salomon Skarn Prime SIGMA™ Ski Goggles with Extra Lens combine advanced optical technology, exceptional peripheral vision and a striking contemporary design for skiers and snowboarders seeking premium performance in changing mountain conditions. Finished with a distinctive white frame and vibrant Fire Red lens, these goggles feature Salomon's innovative 3D toric lens construction, contrast-enhancing SIGMA™ technology and a secure magnetic lens-changing system to deliver outstanding clarity, comfort and versatility throughout the skiing day.
The main SIGMA™ Fire Red lens features a Category 3 tint with 13% visible light transmission (VLT), making it particularly well suited to bright sunshine and clear mountain conditions. Salomon's SIGMA™ technology enhances colour contrast, helping skiers distinguish subtle changes in snow texture, terrain contours and obstacles with greater confidence. For snowfall, heavily overcast skies and flat light, the included SIGMA™ Light Blue spare lens offers Category 1 protection with 52% VLT, allowing significantly more light through to improve visibility when conditions deteriorate.
Changing between lenses is quick and intuitive thanks to Salomon's secure magnetic system. Eight integrated magnets guide the lens into position, while two mechanical side locks provide additional security during demanding runs. This combination makes adapting to changing weather conditions straightforward without compromising lens stability.
The distinctive 3D-sculpted toric lens provides an exceptionally wide horizontal and vertical field of vision, helping skiers maintain greater awareness of their surroundings. A large-fitting frame with thermoformed triple-layer face foam adapts comfortably to facial contours, while the integrated Airflow System promotes ventilation to help reduce moisture build-up and fogging. The goggles are also designed to accommodate suitable prescription glasses, offering additional versatility for glasses wearers.
Finished with a premium silicone-backed strap incorporating 60% recycled yarns, the Skarn Prime offers a secure fit and excellent helmet compatibility. Supplied with a protective hard case and microfibre bag, these premium ski goggles are an excellent choice for skiers seeking adaptable visibility, technical performance and distinctive mountain style.
