The Salomon OSMO Pro SIGMA™ Photochromic Visor Ski Helmet combines advanced impact protection, adaptive lens technology and lightweight comfort in a streamlined all-in-one design. Bringing together the convenience of an integrated visor with the performance of premium ski goggles, this versatile helmet features Salomon's EPS4D safety technology, a precision Custom Dial 360 V fit system and a contrast-enhancing SIGMA™ Photochromic visor. Built with a substantial proportion of recycled materials, it offers an excellent balance of protection, practicality and contemporary styling for piste and all-mountain skiing.
At the heart of the OSMO Pro is Salomon's patented EPS4D technology, engineered to improve energy absorption from vertical and oblique impacts. Combined with a lightweight In-Mould construction, which fuses a durable polycarbonate outer shell with an impact-absorbing EPS liner, the helmet provides dependable protection without unnecessary bulk. Weighing approximately 540g, it offers comfortable coverage for long days exploring the mountain.
The integrated SIGMA™ Photo Poppy Red visor features advanced photochromic technology with a Category 1–3 light transmission range, automatically adapting its tint as weather conditions change. The lens darkens in bright sunshine and becomes lighter as cloud cover increases, helping maintain comfortable visibility without the need for frequent lens changes. Salomon's SIGMA™ technology also enhances colour contrast, making subtle variations in snow texture, terrain contours and obstacles easier to distinguish for greater confidence on the slopes.
The visor's wide field of vision provides excellent peripheral awareness, while its accommodating design allows suitable prescription glasses to be worn comfortably underneath. This makes the OSMO Pro an especially practical choice for skiers who prefer the convenience of an integrated visor over a separate helmet and goggle combination. The interchangeable visor system also allows the lens to be replaced when required.
Comfort is another standout feature. Salomon's Custom Dial 360 V fit system provides precise horizontal and vertical adjustment, allowing the helmet to be fine-tuned to individual head shapes. The oval fit and MaxFit construction work alongside anatomically shaped 3D ear pads to deliver secure, comfortable coverage without unnecessarily restricting hearing.
An adjustable Active Ventilation system allows airflow to be increased or reduced according to weather conditions and activity levels. Integrated ventilation channels encourage consistent air circulation, helping regulate temperature throughout the skiing day. The removable, washable lining adds everyday practicality, making it easy to keep the helmet fresh between trips.
Sustainability has also been considered throughout the construction. The OSMO Pro incorporates a 98% recycled polycarbonate shell, 50% recycled EPS core and recycled materials in the strap, buckle and lining, helping reduce reliance on virgin materials without compromising the helmet's intended performance.
Supplied with a protective helmet bag and visor travel pouch, the Salomon OSMO Pro SIGMA™ Photochromic is an excellent choice for skiers seeking comfortable, lightweight protection, adaptable visibility and the convenience of an integrated visor in one thoughtfully designed package.
