Information
Unisex T3 Light model with SLS technology that keeps the foot cool and protected thanks to a combination of technologies. Ideal for days outdoors when it isn't that cold and with low footwear.
Maximum T3 performance now combined with SLS technology. The combination of the two results in a fully re-inforced and very hard-wearing sock, with cushioning in the sole that keeps your foot free of blisters during your days of trail running.
The Lorpen research and development team has a clear mission: "TO DESIGN AND BUILD THE BEST TECHNICAL SOCKS IN THE WORLD". As designers and manufacturers of their own socks, they have the knowledge and insight to achieve that goal. Lorpen has been able to expand sock technologies from what was existing in the market.
Using just one fiber when knitting socks is wasted potential. At Lorpen, they combine different fibers to maximize their warming or cooling properties. Lorpen lab test different combinations in order to find which ones offer the most benefits to athletes. Different climates require different fibers. While Merino wool is great for the winter, it's too warm for the summer. Even sheep don't wear wool in the summer. That's why we use different technolgies to keep your feet comfortable.
An independent lab test conducted in North Carolina (U.S.A.) showed that the T3 combination of COOLMAX® & Tencel® fibers provided the best results in vertical wicking and moisture absorption, when compared with a variety of traditional yarns used in the construction of athletic socks. This indicates that a person using the T3 combination of yarns could perform at a higher level than when using traditional socks designs.
