Senja Women's Jacket
A water-resistant and compressible mid-weight down-insulated jacket. The Senja Jacket is ideally suited to general mountaineering, Himalayan trekking and everyday use in cool or cold conditions.
For many the Senja will strike the ideal balance of one down jacket to do it all in the mountains, warm and protective enough in freezing conditions but still sufficiently light and packable to be carried. Particularly, well suited to backpackers, mountaineers, and skiers, it’s a versatile jacket for everything from icy summits to valley boulders in the winter months.
Information
With 195g of high quality down fill, the Senja sits just below the ever popular Lightline Jacket in terms of warmth, but is appreciably more insulating than Mountain Equipment's lightest down jackets such as the Frostline and Earthrise.
The DRILITEⓇ LOFT outer fabric is completely windproof and highly water-resistant, easily dealing with snow or an unexpected shower. The fit allows room for various layers underneath whilst remaining thermally efficient, and the mountain hood is easily adjusted on the move, providing essential extra coverage in icy winds.
An inner zipped security pocket keeps valuables safe as well, ensuring that spare camera batteries and other essentials stay warm.
